Content Removal and Appeals Policy

Removal requests for people shown in Mayhem RED content.

Content Removal and Appeals Policy

This policy applies only to requests from a person who is shown, depicted, or otherwise identifiable in content on Mayhem RED and wants that content removed. It is separate from seller account appeals, payment disputes, copyright/DMCA notices, and other platform complaint processes.

Any person shown in content on Mayhem RED may request removal by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Depicted Person Removal Request".

Please include:

  • A direct link to the content or account
  • A short explanation that you are shown in the content and want it removed
  • Any information that helps us identify where you appear in the content
  • Proof that you are the person shown, such as a selfie with a government ID clearly visible
  • Any information about why consent was not given, has been withdrawn where applicable, or is not valid under applicable law

Review Process

  1. Intake and safety review: We log the request and may temporarily restrict access to the content while we investigate.
  2. Identity check: We verify that the requester is the person shown in the content or is legally authorized to act for that person.
  3. Consent review: We review available consent records, age-verification records, model releases, uploader information, and any evidence submitted by the requester.
  4. Decision and action: If we find that consent was not given or is not valid under applicable law, we remove the content. We may also remove or restrict content when records are incomplete, unreliable, or cannot be produced.
  5. Notice: We notify the requester of the outcome and, where appropriate, notify the uploader or account holder.

We aim to review and resolve depicted-person removal requests within five (5) business days. Urgent safety issues, suspected trafficking, minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery are escalated immediately.

Disagreements and Appeals

If there is a disagreement about a depicted-person removal request, either the requester or the affected uploader may ask for an appeal by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Depicted Person Removal Appeal".

Appeals should include:

  • The original removal request details or content URL
  • The decision being appealed
  • Any new or missing information that should be reviewed

We will re-review the matter and, if the disagreement cannot be resolved internally, we will make neutral third-party dispute resolution available. The neutral third party may be an independent mediator, arbitrator, or other qualified independent reviewer that is not controlled by Mayhem RED or the uploader.

Content will remain removed or access-restricted during the appeal when we determine that continued availability may violate the law, payment-network rules, safety standards, or a person's valid consent rights.

Other Reporting Options

Copyright notices should follow our DMCA policy. Reports involving trafficking, coercion, minors, or immediate safety concerns may also be reported under our Anti-Human Trafficking Policy.
